Japan Diary 14: The Road Keeps Telling Stories

Deutsch | English

A film from the road · 1 minute 46 seconds

The diary often focuses on the places where we stop. This film belongs to the stretches in between: motorcycles ahead, green bends, a tunnel and a bridge between the mountains.

Sometimes the view opens across fields and hills; sometimes the forest closes in beside the road. The group follows the bends, and another change of light and landscape is already waiting. Japan seems to have plenty of ideas for the journey itself.

On Japan’s roads – the complete road video.

A roof of green

Another photograph from the road: trees line up on both sides, sunlight paints stripes across the asphalt, and a motorcycle rides ahead through the avenue. I would say nature has taken charge of the interior design here. Very high ceilings, plenty of fresh air – and a carpet you can ride on.

View from a motorcycle along a road lined with tall trees, with another motorcycle ahead and sunlight across the asphalt.
A photographic moment from our Japan journey: riding beneath a green canopy.

For this little ride, I will let the pictures tell the story. The advantage for everyone joining us here: no early departure, no searching for gloves. Just press play.
